Himeji Castle tours

Himeji Castle is a very complex structure. We strongly recommend that you climb the castle with a knowledgeable guide.

You can sign up for a free English volunteer guide at the entrance to Himeji Castle. However, there may be times when the guide is out of service.

There are, of course, tours led by professional guides. Tours from Kyoto and Osaka are also available, but tours from Himeji Station are more numerous. Since it is easy to come from Kyoto or Osaka by Shinkansen or rapid train, we recommend that you take a tour from Himeji Station.
